Diversity Month: Diversity and Freedom – Foundations of Democracy

The liberal‑democratic order is currently facing major challenges. In many areas, freedom and diversity as constitutive elements of democracy are being called into question. Extremist positions are gaining increasing traction, and the concept of illiberal democracy is becoming more prominent in public debate. Stephan Seiter’s lecture will address and reflect on these developments.
