Finance
The university does not provide financial support, students are therefore responsible for arranging their own funding. If you are looking for grants or scholarships (e.g. Erasmus+), please contact the relevant study coordinators at your home university. There are a number of opportunities to apply for financial support for your studies.
You must be able to demonstrate that you have at least €992 per month available to cover accommodation and living costs for the duration of your stay. In addition, you must also be able to pay the relevant administrative fees. Please also note that proof of sufficient financial resources is essential for obtaining a visa or residence permit. Further information can be found on the website of the German Federal Government. A sample calculation can be found on the “Study in Germany” funding page.
On our central website, you will find further important information regarding additional fees, including the semester contribution and tuition fees for international students.
