Central Study Advisory Service

The Central Study Advisory Service is a neutral and impartial counselling office at Reutlingen University. Whether you are already enrolled, or still thinking about applying, we can answer your questions and address your concerns. Our service is voluntary, free of charge and, if required, anonymous.

  • We provide advice and orientation on our degree programmes, the application process, the requirements etc.
  • We also help students with questions concerning how their studies are progressingtheir finances and personal matters. As we are part of a network of other counselling bodies both inside and outside Reutlingen University, we are able to forward inquiries and establish contacts if required.
  • Moreover, we support students with health impairments and provide guidance for refugees.

The Central Study Advisory Service cooperates closely with the university’s five Schools and their degree programmes, career services and other institutions.

Advice for students with health impairments

According to a study by the German Studentenwerk, 7% of the overall student body suffer from health issues that have an impact on their study performance. Reutlingen University offers special guidance for affected students to support them in completing their studies.

The German Academic Exchange Service DAAD provides information on international exchange opportunities for disabled students and students with chronic illnesses.
