Students wishing to join the courses French 1, 2 and 3 should have some knowledge of German, as background information, explanations of grammatical rules etc. are provided in German. Details of these courses can be found on our German page.

French for Intermediate Students: SoSe 20

This course is intended for students with appropriate previous knowledge of French (minimum B1) who wish to refresh and further develop their skills. You will extend and consolidate your vocabulary, and revise grammar as required. The main focus is on communicative situations typically encountered by students, as well as intercultural aspects, for example as preparation for a semester in a francophone country. This is a compact course consisting of 10 meetings of three teaching hours each.

Assessment: minimum 80% attendance, active participation, final examination.
