Closure of the Learning Centre

As a measure to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Learning Centre will remain closed to the public until 19.04.2020.

The loan periods for borrowed media have been extended until 30.04.2020, so that no late fees will be charged during this time. Borrowed media can be returned at any time using the self-service machine in the hallway of Building 3, but this is not necessary due to the extended loan period.

Members of Reutlingen University can use VPN to access electronic media using EDDI or the Database Information System (DBIS).

Interlibrary loans from other libraries are currently not possible. The cooperative service has been suspended throughout Germany.

Borrowing books

During the time that the Learning Centre is closed, students who are currently writing their Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral thesis at Reutlingen University can request to borrow books.

Please also provide your mobile phone number and indicate an appointment (Monday - Friday, 9am to 3pm) for the collection. The books will be given to you at the entrance door of the Learning Centre.
