The Tübingen-Hohenheim Students‘ Union is responsible for services such as social and other kinds of support for students: among other things, it is concerned with catering, accommodation, child care, health promotion and advice, social services for foreign students and help with obtaining financial support.

The Students’ Union runs a Child Care Centre with 16 places in Hermann-Ehlers Str. 35, in Reutlingen. Children between the ages of two and six can be cared for. The fees for children of student parents are currently 178 € per month. Applications should be made directly to the Child Care Centre or to the Students’ Union, Karlstr. 3, 72072 Tübingen, tel. +49 (0)7071/94 66 726. Interested parents can also contact the Child Care Centre by telephone: +49 (0)7121/290 111.
Legal Advice
The Students‘ Union offers students free legal advice in Karlstraße 3, 72072 Tübingen. It covers all the cases that arise from the special life circumstances of being a student, and includes, for example, how to receive social support, obtaining resources for studying, questions concerning university law, and conflicts about accommodation. Legal representation by a lawyer is however not possible.
