Databases

The University Library offers access to a number of academic databases via the database information system (DBIS).You can search these databases for literature or download full-text articles. Within the database information system you find databases that we subscribe to and which can be used on campus as well as freely accessible databases on the Internet. The databases are sorted by subject.

German Union Catalogue of Serials (ZDB)

The German Union Catalogue of Serials contains newspapers from over 4400 libraries in Germany and Austria and will tell you which library has the title you are looking for.

Electronic Journals Library (EZB)

Electronic Journal Library (EZB) provides full-text access to academic journals online. These journals are offered alongside freely accessible titles in a uniform interface. It is shown to you in a "traffic light system" if you have direct access to a full-text article or not (green = freely accessible, yellow = only accessible if you are a member of Reutlingen University, red = no direct access).

Technical Norms

The Perinorm is a database containing norms, technical rules, German technical regulations and current European Union regulations. You will find the complete text of German norms and certain information about norms outside of the country. The norms can be downloaded and printed.

Please remember:

  • DIN-VDE norms can only be viewed on one PC within the library.
