Joining the Project
You want to look at business English from a rather different angle? You want to improve your speaking skills and improve your confidence in talking in front of a group? You want to experience the excitement of acting in front of an audience? Missing your old theatre group from high school? Then join our (Business) English Theatre Project!
Once more we will rehearse a play and present it to the public. Dates for shows are yet to be discussed, but the first week of June 2012 looks most likely.
We are looking both for people who want to act and for people who would like to work backstage, such as a stage manager or technicians, moreover, people who have a knack for finding (or sewing) costumes, doing marketing, playing music or doing set construction (even though our possibilities are a bit limited here).
Meetings:
for actors: usually 2-3 hours every Wednesday evening + additional rehearsals on other days, some on weekends, final rehearsals (evening/weekend) + 2 shows on campus (evening). Actors should plan for additional time for learning their lines and pronunciation practice.
for backstage crew: meetings by arrangement

Every student is welcome, and you don't have to be afraid if your English is not perfect. On the other hand - if you are a native speaker of English you are of course also welcome!
Rehearsals will take place once a week plus there will be some additional meetings. Regular attendance of rehearsals is required!
