AStA

The AStA (Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss - General Student Committee) is an organisation which represents students' interests at a number of levels. Eight students are elected each year, of whom four have seats on the University Senate, where they have a voice on a wide range of policy issues. The AStA also plays a role in promoting cultural, artistic and sporting activities at the University.
