Because most of the degree programmes at Reutlingen University are taught primarily in German, degree-seeking students must provide evidence of proficiency in German, by means of EITHER

  • DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang / German Language Examination for Academic Purposes) OR
  • TestDaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache / Test in German as a Foreign Language).

Minimum requirements are 14 points for TestDaF or Level 2 for DSH.

You may be exempted from the DSH or TestDaF under the following conditions: continue...

The degree programmes BSc International Business and
MSc International Management do not require the DSH or TestDaF exam.

Please note: Reutlingen University itself does not regularly offer preparatory courses for the TestDaF or DSH. Likewise, the exams cannot be taken at Reutlingen University, but have to be completed elsewhere.
